When there is a product on the Internet, we are not able to simply walk over, pick it up and look at it. Sure, you could post a picture of the product and while a picture is helpful, you cannot simply post a picture of the product and expect it to sell. When you are trying to sell a product on the Internet, you need to have a product description. The product description should be detailed. Below, we are going to tell you how to write a detailed product description.

The product description you write will need to have the following features:

• The description needs to be unique to your site
• It should have relevant keywords in it for Search Engine Optimization Purposes
• Human visitors should be able to read it and understand it
• It should be long enough to get the products point across
• The description should help the individual make a purchase decision

Before you start writing the product description, you need to have a general understanding of exactly who your target audience is. The voice and language you use will need to fit in with your audience. For example, when you write a product description for Hello Kitty toys, you will be using a different tone than you would be if you were writing for cell phones. With your descriptions, you should be able to get inside the head of your customers and speak as if you are speaking directly to them.

You definitely need to grab the attention of your potential customers. You can quickly capture their attention by writing product descriptions that stand out. If you are not able to grab the shopper’s attention within the first two seconds, you could lose them completely.

Yes, the product you are selling has a manufacturer and it is important that you do not use their descriptions. Your product descriptions need to be unique. Never use the manufacturer information as your product descriptions. Those descriptions are unique and are not inspiring. Another reason would be the fact that those descriptions are probably posted on hundreds of other sites that are selling the same products. If your site contains content that is duplicate, even if it is product descriptions, you are not going to rank well in Google. In fact, the search engine algorithm filters sites that have duplicate content. The same goes for reviews and testimonials – just do not copy words and post it on your site. The description you write needs to be written by you or a freelance writer you hire.

The product page should not be all cluttered – clutter will chase your potential customers off. The product page you post the description on should look organized and clean. The “add to cart” button should be placed where it is easy to find. You should avoid grammatical and spelling errors. Errors can really kill a conversation.

When you are writing the description, you should add some emotion into it by telling a compelling story. Telling a compelling story is a great way to grab people’s attention. Using emotional appeal in your product descriptions is a very powerful technique that will capture people’s attention.

You should be able to point out the good things about the product, without making it look like a commercial. Tell the readers exactly why they should choose that product over the competing products, without completely bashing the other products. When you write the descriptions, your job is to give the customer a good reason why they should purchase Product number 1 over Product number 2. You should also be able to explain how the buyer will benefit from the product when they use it. Make them realize that the product is worth every penny it costs.

If you are selling a product you are not familiar with, then do research on the product before you write about it. By doing research, you will be able to understand each feature and the advantages of using the product. Many manufacturers have websites you can visit – that is where you can read the product details. You will also be able to learn about the product by reading what other people are saying about it.

When you are writing product descriptions that will be placed on the Internet, it is important that they are unique. The descriptions will need to be creative and have a distinctive style. They should not include a normal list of features. Most of all, the description you write should stand apart from the description that your competitors have written. With those thoughts in mind, don’t be afraid to look at your competitors pages and see what they have written about the products. On an ending note, just remember, writing a detailed product description is going to pay off. It is going to take some time and maybe even some research (if you are not familiar with the product), but the time it takes is well worth it. The first description you write is not going to be as good as the twentieth description you will write – there is always room for improvement.

My Canon Printer came with TWO cd’s, one for MAC and one for Windows. Since I use Windows I used that cd and installed all the drivers and software. When I want to scan, I open the Canno-scan tool box and scan from the computer. I never scan from the printer. It does not work correctly.

The Canon brand underwater housing is not exactly optimized for diving like the Ikelite. I have a Canon housing for my G10, but my main use is for kayaking.
Anyway, there is no outlet for external strobes. There is a clip-on diffuser for the camera flash, with a leash to help prevent loss. The housing and camera has a positive buoyancy (fine for boating), so for diving you would need to buy the optional weight set. (You don’t want to be fighting the buoyancy.) I doubt that the housing has room for an auxiliary wide angle lens. The 28mm (135 equivalent) zoom of the G12 lens should be plenty wide.
